Reno Philharmonic Spring Young People’s Concert (YPC)
This popular seasonal concert is tailored for young audiences. It sells out quickly. We attend with Washoe County schools, so the hall is filled with young people. Parents and grandparents are welcome. Dress in your concert-attending best and enjoy.

This concert experience is intended to provide young listeners with an enjoyable introduction to symphonic music, enhance live music appreciation, and inspire them to become musicians themselves
Registration with payment through www.NNHS.org will be your confirmation – space is limited.

Time: 11:30am (arrive early for parking and seating)
Place: Pioneer Center for the Performing Arts, Reno
Cost: $4/person for all adults and students (lap-sitters under 3 years are free)
Registration Deadline: May 3, 2017
Prepayment must be completed online within 48 hours of registration, or risk being cancelled to make room for waiting list. All payments must be completed before midnight, May 5th. Organizer will NOT be able to accept payment at the door. Please do not register and then delay payment. We may have a waiting list.

CHECK IN: Meet Jill S. out in front of the main entrance at 11am to check in and enter as a group. She will be checking in hundreds of guests, while 1500 other school children mill about. Please make it easy on her. :-)
PARKING: Downtown parking is challenging during business hours. Plan to arrive early. Meters accept credit cards, but do not provide a receipt. Limited lot parking is available nearby, but requires walking a distance to reach the Pioneer. Take this into account when planning your time of departure.
WHAT TO BRING: Bring your camera! No food or beverages inside the concert hall. Packed lunch might be nice for a picnic beside the river afterward. The River Walk is close, and the park at Arlington.
