- Are you thinking of homeschooling, but not sure where to start?

- Are you new to the area and needing to find local activities or information on Nevada requirements?

- Are you homeschooling now, but feeling isolated?
- Are you heading to another level of homeschooling (middle school, high school) and feeling stuck?

--------------------------------
Let's get together, with all of our kids, and encourage one another! Let's chat, make some friends, and let the kids play. Bring water, sunscreen, sunglasses/brimmed hat, a snack/lunch, a picnic blanket or folding chair.

Kids can climb on the playground equipment, bring roller skates, scooters or ride-on toys. Sidewalk chalk, soccer balls, frisbees and kites are invited.

This ABC's of Homeschooling conversation is just an informal introduction, and a chance to encourage/be encouraged. Bring your questions. Jody Bergner, Rebecca Kellet and Gia will be there to talk about getting started, prioritizing, complying with the law in Nevada, and possibly share curriculum and materials so you can see a few.

It's easy to get a homeschooling parent talking about homeschooling :-). If you need information or encouragement, or you are experienced and are willing to help out by being a friend (buddy-system-style), come join us!

This is also a PARK PLAY DAY for anyone who wants to bring their kids to meet other homeschool kids. You don't need to feel obligated to join the group conversation. Bring your littles and get some sunshine with friendly faces nearby. :-)

RANCHO SAN RAFAEL in Reno (corner of McCarran and N. Virginia Streets). Upper playground with the parking lot, above the ducks. There aren't many picnic tables lined up together, so bring a camp chair or picnic blanket.
